Essential Oil Treatments for Thrush

Thrush is a very common yeast infection presenting in the vagina. As it is a fungal infection, it can be treated using many essential oils that have anti-fungal and anti-yeast properties, including patchouli, lavender, geranium and tea tree.

Uva Ursi, also known as Bearberry, as bears like to eat the fruit, has been used for medicinal purposes since the 2nd century, particularly amongst Native Americans, who used it to treat urinary tract infections, though it is also very effective at treating yeast infections, such as thrush, when applied externally.
