Essential Oil Characteristics
The Amyris – West Indian Sandalwood oil has a somewhat viscid liquid thickness with a musty, faintly woody scent that quickly fades away. The concentrated oil has a pale yellow complexion. The oil blends well with other wood oils such as with citronella, sassafras, oakmoss, lavandin and cedarwood. This oil should not be confused with the Mysore and East Indian sandalwood, to which it bears no relation.
Amyris – West Indian Sandalwood essential oil has a viscous consistency.
The Amyris – West Indian Sandalwood essential oil contains Cadiene, Cadinol and Caryphyllene.
The Amyris – West Indian Sandalwood oil has a warm, woody, slightly musty scent.
